Welcome to Lydde guest house!

Lydde guest house is situated in a beautiful valley in southwest Sweden. Towns in the neighbourhood are Borås, Göteborg and Varberg. This valley is where the Swedish textile industry once was born. The house is 150 years old and we have renovated it with ecological methods, to create a sustainable living. As an example we have solar panels and use the rain water to flush the toilets.
The house has 8 guest rooms with 2 – 4 beds each. Most of the rooms have a tiled stove. We offer our guests free bicycles so you can take a ride in the nice surroundings. If you arrive by train we give you a 10% discount. The train station is not far from the guest house.
A golf course is just around the corner.
In a separate building we have facilities for smaller conferences, up to 15 people. In the same house there is an old oven, which you can hire to make pizzas or bake typical Swedish thin bread.
It is possible for groups to rent the whole house, for conferences or celebrations.

Since Kinna/Skene is the cradle of the Swedish textile industry you can shop textile of high quality in the town. In our own shop we sell quilts and pillows made from ecological wool.
